Sia and Grimes vow to match donations to organisations opposing Trump's immigration ban

Aussie singer-songwriter Sia has pledged to match donations to organisations that are helping oppose President Donald Trump's immoral immigration ban

She posted the following message to Twitter and explained that she will match donations to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) up to the value of $100,000: "Help our queer & immigrant friends. send me your donation receipts for the @aclu & I will match up to $100K."

Actress and TV personality Rosie O'Donnell also got involved and added: "And I will match your 100K donation Sia - #resist."

Canadian singer Grimes took to her official Twitter page last night and told followers that she will match donations made to the Council on American-Islamic Relations up to $10,000: "Hey, I'll match all donations to CAIR up to $10,000. Tweet a screencap of your receipt to me <3 anything helps <3."
