Simon Cowell on Tulisa: "She's had a rough time but she's come through the other side"

Simon Cowell has voiced his opinion on the legal battles of former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos.

The N-Dubz singer was recently found guilty of assaulting a celebrity blogger but days earlier was cleared of drugs charges in a separate trial.

The ‘Female Boss’ singer sat alongside Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Kelly Rowland as a judge on the eighth series of The X Factor where she and her act Little Mix won the show. Tulisa left the show after series nine which also featured Nicole Scherzinger.

X Factor creator Simon Cowell has now spoken out in support of Tulisa Contostavlos and stated he would be open to working with her in the future.

Simon explained: “I think we would end up doing something with Tulisa again.”

He added: “She has had rough time but she has come through the other side so I wouldn't rule anything out. I haven't spoken to her, but I know her manager really well so he told me what was going on.”

The latest series of The X Factor is yet to have its television launch date confirmed.
