Simon Cowell credits Fifth Harmony fans for making group big

Simon Cowell says Fifth Harmony fans have helped the group become successful.

The girl band were pieced together on the US X Factor in 2012.

They released their debut album 'Reflection' earlier this year and the quintet are continuing to make an impact across the globe.

Speaking to Good Morning Britain, label boss Cowell said that Fifth Harmony have been helped by the support of their devotees.

He said: "It's the fans who have made it happen.

"They've kind of make it their campaign to get the girls successful in America and now England and the rest of the world."

Fifth Harmony meanwhile are due to perform at the Capital FM Summertime Ball in London on June 6.
