Fresh from a storming week of press that has seen her feature on the cover of Fabulous magazine's 'Futures Issue', and interviews with Evening Standard, Interview Magazine, Gay Times and House Of Solo, alongside coverage in Metro and The Sun, Alice Chater today premieres the video for her sensational new single 'Thief'.

'Thief' is a storming emotional pop dance song that details a love that has stolen her heart.

Alice says: "This song is the perfect way for me to start 2019, as I learned so much and really found my feet in 2018. The video reflects how I want to be seen. Shot by Anna Radchenko (I really wanted a young female director) it combines all the theatre and drama of who I am, but also the choreography I love.

I don’t think this level of dance really gets seen any more. I work hard and continue to train in dance as its an equal passion of mine to singing. I love the look of the video, the colours, the theatre, the movement, all of it. It was a dream come true and I can’t think of a better way to start 2019."

Alice's previous releases have attracted the attention of Radio 1, with her tracks being played on Best New Pop, and 'Heartbreak Hotel' becoming the station's Track of the Week. Clara Amfo said: "If you like a bit of Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars or Ann-Marie, this will be right up your street.”

2018 saw Alice play shows at Thousand Island in Islington, The Old Blue Last and Birthdays in Dalston, alongside sets at Rize Festival, London Pride, Sink The Pink Pride Night and the Fiorucci London store opening.

Alice closed 2018 appearing in Little Mix's hugely talked about Rankin directed video for 'Strip'. Alice was personally chosen by the band to be one of the amazing women featured.

As an artist Alice is aiming high. We’re talking Madonna, Beyoncé and Lady GaGa levels of triple-threat superstardom, all on-point choreography, high-concept videos and attitude-laden vocals that aren’t afraid to belt. Bored of a modern pop landscape that’s rigid and way too-cool-for-school, Alice is here to shake things up, with the help of some of pop’s biggest names: Max Martin’s right hand man Rami Yacoub; fellow Swede Carl Falk; Years & Years’ producer Mark Ralph; Katy Perry collaborator Bonnie McKee and Mozella, who penned Wrecking Ball. Alongside her every step of the way has been her songwriting mentor Kee Ingrosso, wife of Sebastian Ingrosso, and co-writer of J.Lo’s On The Floor among others.

If that’s not enough, she impressed will.i.am so much after a one off meeting on a night out that he’s become a mentor, helping kickstart a major label rush that was won by Virgin EMI in the UK.

Alice is a proper, multi-faceted pop star who can actually properly sing, dance and perform, who is as vulnerable as she is fierce. “I just love pop bangers that make you feel amazing and make you want to dance."
