For Immediate Release:  December 3, 2015 (Toronto, ON);  Country Music Television (CMT) has named Heather Ballentine the Fresh Face Featured Artist for December and will be playing her video “Christmas Kisses” in heavy rotation. The playful, animated video created by Greg David has already gained more than 33,000 YouTube views and is becoming a fan favourite just in time for the season.

“Growing up my parents were into retro music like Elvis, Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline and never really listened to the radio so CMT was where I heard modern country music,’ explains Heather. “I remember the first time I saw the Dwight Yoakam “Fast As You” video on CMT and I was immediately drawn to his sound.” 

That sound was produced by Grammy winner Pete Anderson who also produced Roy Orbison, k.d. lang, Tanya Tucker, Lucinda Williams and now Heather Ballentine.  Anderson produced her debut album The Cat’s Meow and the holiday single “Christmas Kisses.”  “I am so excited and honoured that CMT is now playing my videos,” says Heather, “it is truly a dream come true.”  CMT has also featured Heather on the show Wide Open with the video for “Kiss Me.”
