Sofia Carson on supporting ballet charity event: "Dance changed my life"

Los Angeles Ballet (LAB) held its annual "Chance To Dance" charity event last night (February 24). Earlier this week Sofia Carson took part in an outreach programme to teach ballet to youngsters who aren't in a position to learn dance, a chance to have a lesson.

Speaking on KTLA 5, Carson gave the reason why she took part in the initiative: "For me, dance changed my life.

"I was three years old when I walked into my first dance class, and I just fell in love with it. I fell in love with performing, the feeling you feel when you're on stage.

"To think that there are boys and girls that would want to do that but are not able to is so heartbreaking, and to give them that chance is priceless."

Carson is presenting ABC's "The Oscars: All Access" live stream for the second time this year on March 4.
