Sony/ATV Music Publishing Nashville announced it has signed rising country singer, songwriter, and artist Filmore to a worldwide publishing deal.

Filmore is known for crafting popular country singles including “Love that About You,” “My Place,” “Blue Skies” and “Other Girl,” which has earned more than 21 million on-demand streams. He is also an accomplished performer and recently toured with top country artists such as Lauren Alaina, Sam Hunt, Russell Dickerson, Carrie Underwood, and Dan + Shay.

Currently, Filmore is set to release his highly anticipated debut album State I’m In on September 25. The 18-song project was produced by Zach Abend and chronicles a chapter of his life filled with changes, including his recent engagement, planning a fall wedding and seeing his worldwide fan base continue to grow amidst a global pandemic.

Raised in Wildwood, Missouri Filmore moved to Nashville after graduating college in 2011 to pursue his music career, and later released several popular EPs including 2016's Proof. In 2018, Filmore released banjo-led summer anthem “Slower,” which became his breakout single and garnered more than 26 million streams. Since then, Filmore’s career has continued to rise – he has accumulated over 146 million career on-demand streams and recently appeared on NBC’s “TODAY” and The Bobby Bones Show.
