Kingsland Road Launch Album Campaign and Vow to Beat the Bullies

X Factor’s Kingsland Road announce their collaboration with ‘Pledge Music’ and ‘Beat Bullying’ Charity

After the announcement of their headline tour Kingsland Road are now collaborating with ‘Pledge Music’ to make their debut album. ‘Pledge Music’ will allow Matt, Connor, Jay, Josh and Thompson, with the help of their loyal fan base, to make the album that they want and have loads of fun in the process.

The campaign offers the fans an opportunity to pledge for everything from a signed CD, to an exclusive gig on a barge in London, a guitar lesson with Thompson and Connor to a dance class with the entire band. Launched only yesterday the boys are already 20% on their way to their target after only 24 hours and excited to allow their fans to be very much part of their journey.

The boys were keen to use this opportunity to work with a charity close to their hearts. With Pledge, 5% of the money they raise above their initial target goes to a worthy cause. Unanimously they chose ‘BeatBullying’.

‘BeatBullying’ is an international bullying prevention charity working and campaigning to make bullying unacceptable, on the ground in the UK and across Europe. Both Connor and Thompson were both bullied and so were keen to get involved.

“School was a huge struggle for me on a daily basis, emotionally and physically. I am so happy to be working with ‘BeatBullying’ and ‘Pledge Music’ to support and help those going through the same thing I did” says Thompson.

Connor says “Bullying is a horrible thing. It can be a very lonely and horrible place. To be able to support a charity that helps children that are going through the same thing I did is an honour”.
