Stray made his debut offering in the drum & bass scene with ‘Timbre’ on Critical Music (quoted as ‘one of 2009's standout drum & bass tracks’ by Resident Advisor). He has since released a handful tracks on a wide range of influential labels reflecting the diverse but considered approach to his output. These releases range from the sparse keys of his Exit Records debut 'Pushed' to the relentless dancefloor jungle workout of 'Ginseng Smash' on Critical Music. Despite his modest release catalogue, Stray has had no problems attracting media attention.  In 2013 Stray released two EPs on Exit Records ('Matchsticks' and 'Chatterbox') and gained support from the likes of Annie Mac, Gilles Peterson, Mark Pritchard, DJ Friction, Rockwell, Machinedrum and Om Unit.
