Bape (produced by Miguel London) is the new release from Kyote Noir, the remarkable young wordsmith from hip-hop group The Age of L.U.N.A (BBC R1, 6Music, 1Xtra, MTV, Noisey, Wireless Festival). “Think about soulful music - songs by Erykah Badu, Tribe Called Quest, Fela Kuti; tracks that've been infused with unrelenting energy for life. Combine those earthly influences with a British accent and you've got The Age Of L.U.N.A” Noisey

Kyote Noir, hailing from Southall, West London, has already performed two back to back Glastonbury sets, won the support from trendsetting music platforms, not to mention an enviable fanbase. He has a vision to accomplish much more though, and new single Bape is a story of aspiration and longing. Kyote recalls I remember just sitting there while Miguel made the beat and thinking about things that made me happy as a kid. Of course, it was the things that I couldn’t afford and/or parents weren’t willing to buy me just down to morals and parents being parents; so seeing these things was all eye candy to me. Around this time I was thinking back to my childhood and I remember being in my front room screaming I just want some BAPE!”
