Slim Ting is the new club banger from producer MXHXCK. The track features cross-atlantic vocals with the punchy top line of Kaay Jones from New York via Jamaica complemented by the swagger of  London hip-hop frontman Tubby Boy.  MXHXCK recounts “Tubby signed his first publishing deal with us when he released his first album; we were introduced to Kaay via our reggae specialist in New York. I met Tubby Boy and played him some beats from MXHXCK he was impressed with the bounce; MXHXCK was remixing one of Kaay’s songs and Tubby walked in and murked the beat.”

Kaay Jones is a multigenre, multi talented singer/songwriter who began her music career after auditioning  for a television  show called "Dancehall Got Talent" in Queens, New York in 2014. Kaay was excited to work with MXHXCK and Tubby Boy. She recalls “Tubby’s intro line - Big belly Man how your strong so - is immense from then I knew “Slim Ting” was going to be a big song.” Tubby Boy, an artist and hip-hop promoter couldn’t wait to jump on the record. He says “when I first heard Kaay’s voice I knew she was the perfect artist for collaboration. She has a mixture of old school reggae with a modern twist. Working with Kaay was seamless and when MXHCK played the finished single it was banging.”
