In celebration of Barack Obama’s highly anticipated book release of A Promised Land, the former POTUS unveiled his own personally curated playlist today, which you can now listen to on Spotify. The book will officially hit shelves on Tuesday, November 17th.

The track list includes a mixture of songs featured in the book and is reminiscent of President Obama’s time in office. The playlist features Beyonce’s “Halo,” Bruce Springsteen’s “The Rising,” which he played at Obama's inauguration in 2009, Jay-Z’s “My 1st Song,” (from the critically acclaimed Black Album that celebrated its 10 year reunion this weekend), The Beatles’ “Michelle” and much more.

In a post on Twitter, Obama reflected on his memories explaining, “Music has always played an important role in my life — and that was especially true during my presidency. In honor of my book hitting shelves tomorrow, I put together this playlist featuring some memorable songs from my administration. Hope you enjoy it.”
