Stormzy: 'Never seen a major label know what to do with black artists'

Stormzy has told Hunger Magazine that British major record labels don't know what to do with a black artist.

In an interview with Rankin's Hunger magazine, he said: "I've never seen a major label know what to do with  black artists.

"There's gonna be way more successful young black people coming through. So, I'm just here saying 'Look you better get ready because there's hundreds of us coming, and we look like this and we dress like this and we talk like this and we're here!'"

Stormzy is currently No.1 in the albums chart with his debut album, 'Gang Signs & Prayer' which he released on his own label, #Merky.
