Swedish House Mafia to quit touring

Swedish House Mafia have announced that they are to quit touring.

The DJ supergroup, who consist of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello, have become renowned for their extravagant live shows but released a statement on their official website yesterday to confirm that they are to retire from going on the road:

"Today we want to share with you that the tour we are about to go on will be our last.

“We want to thank every single one of you who came on this journey. We came, we raved, we loved."

The ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’ stars, who performed at Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend yesterday, will still play their dates at Milton Keynes Bowl (July 14) and Sweden’s Friends Arena (Nov 24) alongside their residency at Ibiza’s Ushuaia (July 4 – Aug 29), and also hinted at further farewell shows, adding:

"The final leg of this journey will be announced in August."
