Amsterdam based Belle and The Beats combines powerful vocals with elements of rock and electronics shaped into mystifying pop noir, inspired by artists such as The Slow Show, London Grammar and Benjamin Clementine.
Heart of the melancholy is writer and singer Belle - as a girl ignited by Vanessa Mae's performance of Vivaldi's Four Seasons and formed as a woman at the prestigious Vocal Institute in Copenhagen, Denmark, Europe's largest institute for pro and semi-pro singers.

Down And Lost is taken from debut EP Lose Your Feathers, the fruit of a collaboration with producer Gil Lopez (Kuenta i tambu, Naked Ears), assisted by Mark van Bruggen (Dotan). It perfectly showcases the versatility of Belle and The Beats, sometimes delicate, other times fierce.

First two singles 'Soldier Of The Night' and 'Deeper' got picked up by a large collection of international blogs and had airplay in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany, France, Switzerland, Canada, United States and Australia.
