‘One more time’  ‘Yesterday’ & “Endure”

18 February 2013 will see the UK and European release of Kotadama’s three track EP “One more time.”

Following on from the success of their first single and album containing the tracks ‘Dichotomy’ and ‘Yesterday’ they have reworked some of the songs and given them an acoustic feel.

The three track EP features “One more time” “Yesterday” and the album title track “Endure.” Since the band signed to independent UK record label Tabitha Records in 2012 they have received massive exposure of their music throughout Europe.

As well as plans for Kotadama to play in the UK in the summer, a college tour of the USA next winter is already being planned when the band will headline gigs featuring a number of International artists.

Australian brothers, Chris and Evan Brown formed Kotadama (Japanese for “Spirit of words”) in 2007. The band was born through their founder’s ambitions and passion for music and soon became an outlet for their creativity which leaked from every song. Their presentation and talent in music crafted this boldly inventive group and their debut album; “Endure”, turned heads making them fresh new faces to the pop genre. The band is already well known for their sweeping, high-gloss songs that epitomizes their youth. Their uplifting and melodic tunes and arrangements have already turned heads.

Recognition has not come easily for the band but due to their hard work, enthusiasm and commitment to music they have found their way. As finalists in Europe’s 100% Music Songwriting Contest they were then nominated for a Los Angeles Music Award. The video for their first single “See You Tonight” was aired on CBS, NBC, Fox and other American TV networks. They later received invitations to perform at the Barcelona Acció Musical Festival in Spain after winning first place in the International Festival4Stars songwriting competition. They have already toured Japan, India, New Zealand & Australia as well as playing a few selective dates in Europe.

The band is now putting the finishing touches to their second album and a single is planned for release in the spring followed by the album in the summer.

Brothers Chris and Evan have already carried out radio interviews across the UK, Europe, Australia and the USA and plan to repeat this during the next few months.
