FUSION- DON’T GET ME MAD

Taken from his forthcoming E.P ‘Ready’, ‘Don’t Get Me Mad’ follows the previous release of ‘For The Crime’, which instantly hit the mark with grime gatekeepers such as Rude Kid, who made it his ‘Riddim Of The Week’ on Kiss FM, and Rebecca Judd who made it her Track of the Day, along with MixMag, Notion and Complex all rallying to be the first to highlight Fusion and his music to their followers.

Rolling up on an instrumental that sets the sinister tone of inner-city life surrounded by tower blocks, barking dogs and cautionary bars, ‘Don’t Get Me Mad’ exemplifies Fusion’s ability to do more than just spit heat. Produced by Five Nine the track is gripping in nature and adds to Fusion’s continually impressive and increasing arsenal, which has already awarded him plaudits such as one of ‘13 British Emcees Destined For A Big 2017’ by Complex earlier in the year.

Whilst big in stature and lyrical prowess, it is almost a juxtaposition that the giant of a figure has a reserved and humble character in real-life, however that isn’t something to be fooled by. Fusion’s determination, musical understanding and application to his craft demands the respect of his peers, as seen in the responses of grime scene patriarch’s Jammer and Skepta following his inclusion on Lord of the Mics 10th Anniversary compilation and the subsequent releases of heavy hitting grime joints ‘No’, ‘Rudeboy’ and ‘Newham’.

Aligning him for further conquests, ‘Don’t Get Me Mad’ leads Fusion in to the ‘Ready’ E.P release and with a number of weighty missiles still left in the chamber you can be pretty damn sure that you don’t want to sleep on what’s popping off for the Newham emcee.  Catch the video premiere below via Dummy Magazine.
