The Vaccines say new album title is inspired by article about brunch

The Vaccines have revealed that the name of their upcoming new album was inspired by a newspaper article about brunch.

Frontman Justin Young stated in the new issue of NME that a piece about globalisation and homogenisation in 21st Century culture inspired the title 'English Graffiti'.

The New York Times article said that it 'doesn't matter where you are in the world, the brunch always tastes the same'.

Young commented: "We live in a really weird time. We're voyeurs.

"We're constantly looking at this constructed reality online. We feel super-connected, but I don't think we are. I feel a massive disconnect between what we perceive to be real and attainable and what actually is."

The album 'English Graffiti' does not yet have a release date, the Brits will unleash the single 'Handsome' on March 9.

The Vaccines will also tour the UK in April and May.
