The Vamps have unveiled a cover of One Direction's recent single 'Midnight Memories'.

The rising British group are due to release their debut album 'Meet The Vamps' on April 14 and they have uploaded a cover of the One Direction song on YouTube to promote the record.

The quartet can be heard at the start of the clip speaking about their musical roots.

The 'Midnight Memories' cover then plays as it accompanies video footage of the lads in New York.

It's the not the first time the group have covered One Direction, with the band previously putting their own spin on 'Story of My Life' and 'Best Song Ever'.

The Vamps' debut album meanwhile is set to include the band's first three singles, 'Can We Dance', 'Wild Heart' and 'Last Night'.
