The Vamps: 'Our fans are ruthless, but we love them'

UK based pop-rock band The Vamps have opened up about their 'crazy' fan base in a new interview and explained that while they're a little out-there in terms of trying to get their attention, they're very devoted.

Member Tristan Evans told the BBC that they've had some wild encounters with their followers, but they're always incredibly supportive:

"They're ruthless sometimes, you know? They're intense, but it's amazing. They jump on the van, which we don't like, we don't promote, because it's dangerous. They do things that are really, really crazy. As long as they support us... we love them!" Frontman Brad Simpson added: "They get us top 3 singles, which is incredible, so that's a credit to them!"

The lads also recently confessed that there was an embarrassing incident not long ago where some fans managed to break into a hotel room two of the members were staying in and caught them in bed without any clothes on:

"We were in a hotel in Manchester and because we’re always used to staying in hotels and going back and forth between each other’s rooms, we leave the doors on a latch so we can just come in and out. We didn’t realise that some fans had got into the hotel and Connor and James were in bed and about five fans just walked into their rooms."
