The Vamps' James begs fans to stop calling his parents' house: 'Please stop, it's not fair'

'Last Night' heartthrob James McVey, who plays guitar in The Vamps, has urged his followers to stop dialling the phone number that connects to his parents' house.

Writing on his official Twitter page earlier today (May 6), he explained that he doesn't live with his mother and father anymore so hates the thought of them constantly being woken up by excited fans trying to reach him on the landline:

"People who call my parent's home phone- please stop."

"I don't even live there anymore and calling late at night isn't fair on my family."

McVey also addressed rumours about his dating life on the social networking site last night and joked that he is apparently romantically involved with several fans: "I'm supposedly dating a few fans at the moment..."

Last month, the 'Wild Heart' star told The Mirror newspaper that he often finds himself feeling completely overwhelmed at huge signing eventsbecause he still isn't use to dealing with so many fans at once: "We love meeting fans, but sometimes I’m petrified about not knowing what to expect when you walk out the door at big signing events. The other day the screams were so loud they made me feel a bit sick."
