The Vamps hit 1 million followers on Twitter

British pop-rock group The Vamps have finally hit the 1 million followers mark on social media site, Twitter.

The 'Last Night' heartthrobs called for fans to get them to the impressive milestone earlier this week and they have now achieved it (screenshot pictured below). Earlier this afternoon (May 29), they tweeted an update to let people know how close to one million they were:

"Can't believe we are on 999k. We love you guys soooo much. Thanks for all the support in everything!!! #getthevampsto1m."

The Vamps are currently on their way to Japan and the lads have been sharing their excitement over the impending trip with their fans, with member Connor Ball posting: "See ya soon, Tokyo, you little smash!"

They will also appear on 'The Paul O'Grady Show' in the UK this evening and they tweeted information about it earlier, writing: "UK, see us on Paul O'Grady today 5-6pm. Our album is on offer today at iTunes for £5.99 but ends at midnight!"
