The Vamps 'blown away' by how many male fans they have: 'They're surprised we're a real band'

'Wild Heart' hitmakers The Vamps have revealed that it's amazing to see how many guys are starting to catch onto their band and they seem to be surprised by the fact that they're a real group with actual instruments.

The band's frontman, Brad Simpson, told Digital Spy that they're glad they appeal to a diverse group of people and it's really great to see so many male fans appearing:

"No, that's great. We played Isle of Wight and we were quite worried about it because it's quite a diverse festival and Kings of Leon were playing. We were very blown away with the kind of response we got, because there was a lot of dudes there getting involved, which was great. It's really nice to see. I think a lot of guys see us live and are like, 'Oh they're actually a real band'."

The lads also opened up about Australian pop-punkers 5 Seconds Of Summer and confessed that they think the 'Don't Stop' guys would beat them in a fight: "They're big strong men, and we're little boys, so they'd win."
