The Vamps concerned about fans' safety: 'People were nearly falling on train tracks'

British pop-rock group The Vamps have apologised to fans for not being able to stop and greet them at train stations, but explained that it's a dangerous environment to have that kind of interaction.

Member James McVey took to his official Twitter page earlier today and admitted that it's simply not safe and they never want to put their supporters in any kind of danger:

"Sorry guys, we can never really stop when we are carrying gear through train stations and going to sound checks."

The heartthrob then added: "It's just not safe because people were nearly falling on the tracks."

The band, meanwhile, have just returned from Spain where they were shooting a brand new music video and they teased a couple of photographs from the set, which appear to show them in 'tribal' gear complete with messy hairstyles.
