The Vamps have joined forces with Shawn Mendes on their next single.

The group are due to release the track 'Oh Cecilia (Breaking My Heart)' in the UK on October 12.

Whilst the album version of the song didn't feature Mendes, the Canadian teenager has been drafted in for the single.

The single download in the UK will also include the B-side 'Hurricane'.

The Vamps meanwhile were today (September 4) confirmed to perform at this year's BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards.

The event will take place at London's Wembley Stadium on October 19.

They are joined on the bill by Ariana Grande, 5 Seconds of Summer, Ella Henderson, Labrinth and Rixton.
