The Vamps tease new songs: 'They might end up on our second album'

British pop-rockers The Vamps are currently on their headlining UK tour, but they've revealed to fans that they have managed to find time to work on new material for their highly anticipated sophomore record.

They shared a snapshot of frontman Brad Simpson and guitarist James McVey holed up in a hotel room via their group's official Twitter page this afternoon (October 1) and explained that they're playing through some songs that might make the tracklisting for their next album:

"Playing some new tunes that could potentially be on the second album."

The 'Wild Heart' hitmakers will perform at Manchester's Apollo later on this evening and bassist Connor Ball admitted that they're really excited to take the stage in the city: "Manchester I have high expectations for you tonight." McVey added: "Manchester is always sick! Bring on the show tonight!"

Simpson, meanwhile, recently told the Birmingham Mail that touring is fun, but he misses his family a lot while he's on the road: "I do come home when I can and I really miss my family – that’s the worst part of the whole thing. I was back two weeks ago for a couple of days."
