The Vamps' James talks to Pressparty about performing at Macy's iconic Thanksgiving parade

British pop-rock band The Vamps have enjoyed incredible success this year and they will top it off with a special live performance tomorrow (November 27) at Macy's iconic Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.

Pressparty spoke to guitarist and heartthrob James McVey this afternoon about the forthcoming appearance and he explained that it's an honour to have been invited as the event is so well-loved across America:

"We are really excited to play the Macy's parade - playing to 50 million people is a scary prospect, so we are a bit nervous!"

We then asked him how he and the rest of the guys are planning to spend Thanksgiving after the parade finishes and he confessed that eating a traditional dinner is on the agenda: "I'm really excited to eat as much turkey as I can however, that's something to look forward to perhaps as much as the parade! Only joking!"

Other performances at this year's Macy's parade will come from the likes of Taylor Swift, Lucy Hale, and 'All About That Bass' singer Meghan Trainor
