The Vamps: 'One of us fell for a girl who liked girls'

British pop-rock band The Vamps have revealed that their latest single, 'I Found A Girl', was inspired by a real-life situation that happened to one member of the group.

While The Vamps won't reveal which member was involved, they did explain that the track is about falling for a girl who turned out to be a lesbian.

The lyrics include the lines, "I found a girl who's in love with a girl/she said that she tried, but she's not into guys," and heartthrob Tristan Evans confessed that it was an unusual situation to be in the middle of. He told Guilty Pleasures: "It was a situation that was different for us, a girl who was in love with a girl."

The heartthrobs, meanwhile, are gearing up to hit the road and they will kick off their UK arena tour on March 25 in Birmingham, and will visit Dublin, London, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Glasgow, Sheffield and Liverpool on the jaunt. Tickets for the tour are on sale now.
