The Vamps on new single: 'It's about being friend-zoned to the max'

Pop-rock band The Vamps have a brand new single called 'I Found A Girl' and they recently confessed that the track was written about a real-life experience that one of them had.

The boys have now shed a little more light on the situation that inspired the song, but still refused to name which member it happened to:

“It’s a concept that happened to one of us but we embellished it and exaggerated it in the song. It was never a relationship where she went off with anyone or anything. One of us started liking someone and then she said, ‘No, I like girls’. It wasn’t great. friend-zoned to the max. It’s just a funny thing and we’re not trying to be controversial.”
