The Vamps on playing live without Connor: 'It was weird and we missed his energy'

British pop-rock band The Vamps have revealed that having to play live without bassist Connor Ball while he was recovering from knee surgery was "weird".

During an interview with Hit 30, drummer Tristan Evans confessed that performing without Ball recently was a strange experience and they really missed the energy and dynamic he brings to the group:

"It was really weird. We did a couple of big shows and a couple of TV things without him... it's so weird. It felt like Blink-182 because there were just three people. Usually it's two either side. It's difficult because he's a lot of energy - the energy of the band as well."
