5 of our favourite covers by The Vamps

British pop-rock band The Vamps have enjoyed huge success since making an impact on the industry back in 2012 with their breakthrough single, "Can We Dance", but they have also raised their profile by recording some fantastic covers for their YouTube channel.

The lads will head off on a book tour this October to promote "The Vamps: Our Story" and they'll visit London on October 20, Birmingham on October 24, Manchester on October 25, and Glasgow on October 26.

We have rounded up five of our favourite covers by The Vamps for your viewing and listening pleasure below.

1. Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble"

The band covered this back in 2012 and if you'd told them that just two years later, in 2014, they would be supporting her at London's O2 Arena they probably wouldn't have believed you.

2. Passenger's "Let Her Go"

The video for this cover shows the lads walking down a country lane performing the track together while member James McVey plays the acoustic guitar. It's an organic clip that showcases how comfortable the boys are around one another, and how natural making music together comes for them.

3. The Killers' "Mr. Brightside"

This cover was filmed as a live video and the band worked hard to put their own stamp on the track.

4. Fall Out Boy's "Young Volcanoes"

Bass player Connor Ball recorded this cover of Fall Out Boy's "Young Volcanoes", which features on the band's Save Rock and Roll album, by himself and he did a stellar job. His raw vocals and acoustic style make for a great sound that 1.8 million people (according to the hits on YouTube) also loved.

5. Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah"

Frontman Brad Simpson seized the opportunity to show off the progression of his vocal ability with this cover and he didn't disappoint. This cover will hit you right in the feels! It's a bold move to take on such an iconic song, but he delivered. Well done, Brad.
