The Vamps considering celebratory tattoos if single hits No.1

The Vamps have revealed that they might mark a possible No.1 single with special tattoos.

The rising British boyband's debut track 'Can We Dance' is currently sitting at the top of the UK singles chart ahead of the list's final unveiling on Sunday (October 6).

Speaking to the Daily Record, the group's James McVey said that they might all get their bodies inked to commemorate their success if they do indeed land a full No.1. He revealed:

“For us, the weekend is really important. We’d probably get something relevant, like the date, tattooed. We would seriously be very happy and are going to thank a lot of people. We have a great team around us.”

Speaking about The Vamps' chart rivals, McVey added: "The OneRepublic song is really good and we like it. It’s one of our main pieces of competition this week. Katy Perry and Chase & Status are also there and it’s really scary as well as really amazing. Even at this point we are higher in the charts than a lot of people we like. We are very nervous."

Pressparty meanwhile recently spoke to The Vamps, who answered fans' questions and discussed celebrity crushes and the sound of their forthcoming album. Check out our interview here.
