The Vamps reveal unusual pre-show ritual

Rising stars The Vamps have revealed details of a pre-show ritual they all engage in to bring them luck before stepping out in front of their fans.

During an interview with The Razz, the cheeky heartthrobs explained that they've started a routine that they feel brings them good luck and energy before a concert. Member James McVey confessed:

"We like to rub our chins together before we perform because it’s a good luck thing for us. I don’t know how it started but it tends to work."

The lads scored a midweek No.1 yesterday (October 2) with their debut single, 'Can We Dance', and speaking about the competition they're facing for the all-important pole position they admitted that nerves are starting to set in:

"The OneRepublic song is really good and we like it. It’s one of our main pieces of competition this week. Katy Perry and Chase & Status are also there and it’s really scary as well as really amazing. Even at this point we are higher in the charts than a lot of people we like. We are very nervous.”
