The Vamps remain at No.1 as UK singles chart race hots up

The Vamps are currently No.1 on the UK singles chart with only two days remaining until the final result is announced.

It was revealed on Wednesday (October 2) that the rising British group's debut single 'Can We Dance' went straight to the top of the charts.

Whilst it was 13,000 copies ahead of nearest rival OneRepublic midweek, the Vamps are only now 6,000 units in the lead today (October 4) ahead of the chart results on Sunday (October 6).

In the albums chart meanwhile, Haim's maiden record 'Days Are Gone' is only 28 copies behind Justin Timberlake's frontrunning 'The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2'.

The three sisters were 700 units behind Timberlake on Wednesday (October 2).
