Hitmakers The Vamps have urged their followers to continue supporting them into the new year because they have so much more to give them. 

Member James McVey took to his official Twitter page earlier today (January 1) and thanked the band's fans for the constant love and devotion, and promised that the next twelve months will be rewarding:

"Let's hope next year is equally as incredible."

"Please stick with us because we haven't shown you just how much we love you yet! <3 #thankyou."

A tweet was also shared from the group's collective Twitter account, which echoed the sentiment and read: "HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!!!!!!!! We love you so much. Let's take over the world together! Xxxxx"

Meanwhile, the 'Can We Dance' heartthrobs are in the running to be crowned MTV's Brand New for 2014 and earlier in December were in the lead, so they stand a solid chance at taking the coveted title. They are up against the likes of Banks, 'La La La' singer Sam Smith, and Ella Eyre.
