X Factor finalist Matt Terry has revealed that his dream duet partners would be either Jessie J, who recently returned with a cover of Frankie Valli's 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You', or singer-songwriter Sam Smith.

During an interview with Good Morning Britain this week, the talented X Factor contestant explained that he admires them as artists: "I would love to duet with Sam Smith or Jessie J. I love them. They are my favourite artists."

Matt Terry added: "They are who I want to be as artists. I love a bit of retro put into my songs. It's bringing the old school back."

He also revealed to The Sun newspaper that he bumped into Sam Smith in London and they went for a drink together, where the 'Stay With Me' sensation gave him advice on making it in the industry: “What are the chances? It’s just crazy. I had a bunch of questions to ask him about his career. It was pretty cool. He’s an artist I’ve listened to since he started and I think his career is just insane."
