X Factor to cull four acts this weekend with no public vote

The X Factor is set to shake things up this weekend as four acts are set to be cut.

Not only will there be quite a hefty elimination, the judges will be forced to cull acts from their own groups as the usual public phone vote will not be happening. The stars of this year's run will perform on Saturday night (October 8) and Sunday's show will reveal the groups or solo acts that have been cut.

Both Gary Barlow and Kelly Rowland spoke about the forthcoming episodes and said it's going to "feel very different on Saturday":

"This is the ‘X Factor’ stage – it’s one thing singing by the pool but it all changes here. This is where stars are born, like Leona. It’s all going to feel very different on Saturday.”

“We want you to put your best foot forward, make the decision hard for us and let us know why you need to stay."
