Recently eliminated X Factor contestant Amelia Lily has spoken out about how the show has a completely different dynamic now that the judges have been asked to vote out their own acts. 

The talented 16-year-old was booted out of the talent contest on Sunday night (October 9) along with 2 Shoes, Jonjo Kerr and James Michael, and has revealed to The Sun newspaper that her early exit was comparable to "having your heart ripped out":

"It is literally the hardest thing you could ever go through in your life."

She also added that if the public vote had remained active at least for the first round of eliminations she's sure that her place would have been safe:

"My fan base is ridiculously big now. If it was a public vote I would have got through."
