X Factor finalists to duet with their mentors during live show

The forthcoming X Factor final will see contestants perform live duets with their mentors.

Finalists Amelia Lily, Marcus Collins and girl group Little Mix will sing for their lives with specially chosen tracks alongside Kelly Rowland, Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos respectively.

The young hopefuls have been tweeting about their excitement over the weekend's upcoming live shows and Marcus Collins wrote (December 8):

"I feel so privileged to be doing a duet with @GBarlowOfficial. He has been such an inspiring mentor. #XFactorDuet".

Pink-haired Amelia Lily, who was recently at the centre of show fixing speculation after HMV accidentally revealed her as the winner of 2011's X Factor, added:

"OMG!! words cannot describe how excited I am about dueting with @KellyRowland!! Dream come true #XFactorDuet xxxx"

Take That's Gary Barlow joked about the upcoming collaborations during a press conference in London and said: "The judges will be more nervous than the acts. Thank God Louis didn't get an act in the final!"
