X Factor winners Little Mix head straight to No.1 in singles chart

X Factor winners Little Mix have shot straight to the top of the UK singles charts with their debut track 'Cannonball'.

The Damien Rice cover blew away competition from the likes of Coldplay, whose track 'Paradise' moved up to No.2.

Elsewhere in the top five, Olly Murs' 'Dance With Me Tonight' dropped to No.3 whilst Lloyd's 'Dedication To My Ex (Miss That)' fell one place to No.4.

Leona Lewis's much talked about cover of Nine Inch Nails' 'Hurt' is a new entry at No.8, whilst Mariah Carey's classic festive track 'All I Want For Christmas' moved up one place to No.11.
