MALAWIAN REGGAE STAR BORN AFRIKAN RELEASES THE DEBUT SINGLE "KADONA" OFF HIS ALBUM ' THE PAST, PRESENT & THE FUTURE

Born Nelson Shaba in Blantyre, Malawi in 1974, Born Afrikan, a Malawian Reggae Musician, performer and Director of Born Afrikan Productions releases the brilliant single 'Kadona' off his debut re released album - The Past, The Present & The Future.

Born Afrikan, now relocated to South Africa has deep ties to the people and cultures and musical sounds of the continent. This 14-song album has a mixture of roots reggae and upbeat, vibes and traditional love songs.

Kadona, the first single, is a soulful lovers rock reggae hit fused with a traditional Malawian dance flavour and sung in the Native Malawian language Chichewa. It’s a song about a woman with all the qualities of that guardian angel every man craves for. The song puts to light Born Afrikan's creativity and uniqueness.

This year marks ten years since the release of that album THE PAST PRESENT & THE FUTURE and as the album was never given its just desserts, Born Afrikan has decided to re release the project again of which also he has added two new songs KADONA a song about a man's ideal woman written and sung in his vernacular language Chichewa and the other song is BLACK WOMAN.
