Following the launch of the #10yrswithBTS campaign last week - which has already had 407.4m video views since last Friday - today sees the release of the latest single from BTS, 'Take Two'.
BTS is promoting 'Take Two' on TikTok using the platform's newly available 'new release' feature - which is available from today - which helps artists highlight their new songs more effectively to fans on the platform.
BTS is currently the global face of #newmusic, a new global initiative designed to make it easier for users to discover new music and for artists to connect to fans. Today TikTok can also confirm that BTS' TikTok account will go LIVE using the in-app LIVE feature for the very first time on June 17th at 7pm KST. The LIVE will be an exclusive vertical TikTok livestream, which will feature a talk show and performance by RM, which will be a special moment when leader RM communicates with fans onsite at the ARMY Lounge on the banks of the Han River in Seoul, accompanied by a firework display. TikTok is also releasing customised TikTok location tags that fans at the LIVE venue can use to share their experience on TikTok.
TikTok is celebrating the band's major milestone via a series of events and campaigns, including a #10yrsWithBTS hashtag challenge and unique effect, a community-created compilation video as well as unique and exclusive footage to support the group's upcoming new single; all designed to celebrate ten years of BTS together with their global community of 60 million followers on the platform.
