UK rapper Tinie Tempah’s debut album ‘Disc-Overy’ has achieved Platinum certification.

The ‘Frisky’ star’s record label, Parlophone, tweeted earlier today (December 3):

“Whoop!!! Congratulations to @tinietempah for taking #DiscoveryPlatinum”

The 13-track release came out on October 4, 2010 and entered the album charts at number 1. ‘Disc-Overy’ has given the talented young rapper from London 2 number 1 singles and, so far, a total of 4 top 5 singles.  

He will be back on the road in February 2011 to tour the UK and you can watch the video for his current single, ‘Written In The Stars’, here:
