Tinie Tempah added to line-up for South West Four festival

Tinie Tempah has been added to the line-up for this year's South West Four festival in London.

The British rap star will join a host of other big-names who have been confirmed for the festival in London, with star attractions including: Sigma and MistaJam.

The festival will take place between August 26 - 27 on Clapham Common, where Tempah will deliver an exclusive summer performance in the UK's capital.

Tempah, who's successful career spans over a decade in the music industry, says that he is not trying to follow in the footsteps of rappers in America. He said: "I'm not trying to be like an American rapper, I'm doing it my own way."

The artist's new album, 'Youth', is set to be released later this week. He previously revealed he is always looking for inspiration for his music. He said:

"Even when I go to bed, I'm still thinking about this. I watch every single type of musician, everything about them: what they wear, how they talk, what their videos like, what jokes they make. I watch and absorb everything."

The singer-songwriter has just unveiled his latest track, 'Shadows', which features Bi-poplar Sunshine. Of his latest musical offering to the world, he said: “I’m still rapping with soul ‘cause I never sold mine/ For the whole time did it without a co-sign.

“In the hardest and darkest times it's very difficult to see hope and positivity.

“I've been in that place and know what it's like. But without hope we have nothing. This song is like therapy for me, and I hope everyone who can relate hears this and tries to tap into the light and unlimited potential I believe we all have.”
