Tinie Tempah has admitted to a severe case of the pre-BRIT Awards nerves.

The UK rapper, who back in January promised a "colossal" performance, told Radio 1's Fearne Cotton that:

"I was in France supporting Usher and I was thinking about my Brits performance. There's gonna be lots of things going off and I thought, 'I'm going to fall over.’ I can see it happening already, I'm really worried about it. "

He also joked about how close the BRITS' venue, London's O2 Arena, is to his mother's house:

"It's around the corner from my mum's house; I could take the bus there. Fingers crossed if anything does happen it'll be in the local papers because that's where I grew up."
