Tinie thinks the charts need a change

BRIT award-winning rapper Tinie Tempah admits that he thinks the new 'On Air, On Sale' policy is a good idea just days after Chipmunk explained he feels it's unfair.

The concept, which means that as soon as a track is played on the radio it becomes available for download, is a lucrative one in the 'Pass Out' star's eyes, and he told the Daily Star it will show the genuine popularity of a song rather than just highlight its publicity:

"I like it that with this new idea a song can sell for a longer period of time."

“Now a No 1 will be a really popular single rather than just a big build-up and drop out, which is interesting.”
