BILL FAY Announces 'WHO IS THE SENDER?' Album (27/04/15), Shares 'WAR MACHINE' Lyric Video

BILL FAY  -  ‘War Machine’
Lyric Video Launches New Bill Fay Album, ‘Who Is The Sender?’

A timely release of a profoundly anti-war song

‘War Machine’, is the first song to be released from the new album by Bill Fay. Available as a lyric video it shows scenes from the album recording sessions last year at Ray Davies’ Konk Studios in North London.

Bill Fay’s new album, ‘Who Is The Sender?’ is the much anticipated but hardly-dared-hoped-for follow up to

‘Life Is People’ (2012) which was Bill’s first solo studio album in 41 years and a deserved critical and commercial success.

Ask Bill Fay about his relationship with his instrument and he says something revealing, not ”Ever since I learnt to play the piano”, but “Ever since the piano taught me…”

What the piano taught him was how to connect to one of the great joys of his life. “Music gives,” he says. And he is a grateful receiver. But, it makes him wonder, “Who is the sender?”
