Jessica Simpson might have a reputation for being dim but now with almost $1 billion in the bank she probably doesn’t care.

After launching successful clothing and shoe lines, as well as perfumes and cosmetics, the singer, who earned over $750 million last year, has become known within the fashion industry as “the billion dollar baby.”

“I never thought I’d be some fashion mogul,” Simpson tells the new issue of New York magazine. “I put everything in the line and it just blows out.”
