Child star Lil’ Romeo, who’s now 21-years-old and simply known as Romeo, has been announced as a competitor on this year’s series of ‘Dancing with the Stars.’

The son of rapper Master P, Romeo shot to fame upon the release of his self-titled debut album in 2001. After considerable success, and several albums, in the early noughties he tried his hand at acting and appeared in ‘Honey’ with Jessica Alba.

As well as ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ Romeo is currently working on his fifth studio album, ‘Intelligent Hoodlum.’
