Nicki Minaj breaks Billboard record

Nicki Minaj has broken the record for “most consecutive weeks in the top 10 by a female rap album on Billboard’s 200” with her debut, ‘Pink Friday.’

The ‘Moment 4 Life’ singer, who has said she’s done with collaborations for the time being, Tweeted a thank you to her fans for their support.

Rapper Lil Wayne has admitted he signed Minaj to Young Money because he immediately sensed her star power.

“I just thought she was going to be the new female MC that none of these other female MCs can touch. But now, she's blossomed into a megastar with this new attitude and this style,” he told MTV News.
